This week, I wanted to share my 2024 goals.
I tackled 2023 with low expectations and I’m glad that I did. It felt good to do almost the bare minimum. I didn’t have a bunch of goals or lists of things to do but I ended the year consistently working out, counting macros, homeschooling 4 kids, and feeling pretty good. I want to start and end 2024 even better than 2023.
A friend asked me to make a family vision board and then come over for dinner and have a presentation of vision boards. It was fun to get all of our kids involved.

I made lasagna soup and Sarah made sourdough bread and then we all presented our visions for 2024.

I’m sure I will add more and adapt as the year goes on. But for now, I have 7 F’s which I am calling my “F-it” list. I tried to be as realistic as possible with all my aspirations.

I’m hoping to get in to the Disney marathon in 2025 but I have to sign up for it when sign-ups open in April 2024. I don’t have any goals of how fast I want to run, or a specific finishing time. I just want to finish the race.
I needed a goal specific to declutterring and cleaning and that’s my Feng Shui goal. I was pretty vague with this one but I know I will be constantly working on it this year.
The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize that having a list of goals is great but it’s also great to look at them knowing that it’s OK if they need to be changed or adjusted (in either direction) and that doesn’t mean anything about me.
Everyone has goals and priorities. Some people write them down, and some people live everyday without knowing what they are.
What does your 2024 look like?
